Model Answer:

Actually, there are so many types of noble jobs in the world that it becomes really tricky for a person to choose one over another when asked which job makes this world a better place. The list can be very long indeed. However, in my opinion, a job which can really make a tremendous impact in our lives and make the world a better place is teaching. And it would not be too bold to say that it is the best job of the world.

I remember the first time I heard about this profession was the time when I was about 6/7 years old. Our family was having a conversation with some local guests in our house when my father started talking about the teaching profession and its impact in changing the world’s future. My father was a full-time teacher of a high-school himself. He used to teach the English language and literature. I recall that I asked some questions to both my father and mother about the jobs teachers do and why do they do it, and my parents gave answers to those questions. After that, I’ve got a blurry image of what teachers do and how they help to change the world. By reading many articles and observing my father, those blurry images took a valid and tranquil state in my mind.

I think teaching helps a society, a nation, and the world in several ways. It changes human outlook rapidly. In ancient times people were not very educated and they had a very low level of knowledge about the world itself. During those days there were some wise people in every tribe, every clan who taught the common people about various things which opened their eyes and they turned into great civilizations. Examples can be taken from the Aztec, Mayan and Egyptian civilizations. Every nation depends highly on the great teachings of great teachers. Without teachers, no country can go forward. In teaching and through teaching a nation becomes educated which helps to become good decision-makers and policymakers. Thus a country continues to develop more and more. This is why developed countries give immense importance in learning and teaching.

All the teachers are the genuine human engineers who are endlessly working on creating the next scientist, doctor, leader, artist, writer, architect, researcher, pilot, musician, and composer etc. who would navigate the nation towards development. Without their unparalleled endeavor and involvement, the world would have been an alien and isolated place with lot more problems to tackle. There is possibly no other profession which contributes to making the world a better place as much as the teaching profession does. This is why I think it is a great job.
