Model answer:

I have come to know a number of great people in my life but not all of them are handsome. All of them have great qualities yet one person among that group of people is really special to me because of his handsomeness. He is my secondary school art teacher Mr. James Klahan who is also my most favourite teacher in the world. For this topic card, I’m going to talk about him.

I remember the day I first met Mr. Klahan unmistakably. It was my first art lesson in Grade 7. I think it was just after the summer breaks. We were informed by the school authority that a new teacher was to meet us on that given day just after the lunch break. We were gossiping in the Arts and Crafts classroom near our Science Laboratory and suddenly a very cute-looking young man entered the class. He was in his 30s but he did not look like a teacher much. Rather he looked just like a teenage student with his T-shirt with jeans, his blue backpack, and a big roll of art paper.

His appearance was quite unexpected and extraordinary for us. He gave us a wide and bright smile and told us to relax. He told us that his class won’t have many rules and we could sit wherever we felt comfortable. Just at that time, I knew he would be different from all the other teachers in our school. I passed my secondary certificate exam 12 years ago but still I maintain communication with my favourite teacher.

I like Mr. Klahan because of his smartness in his looks. Though he wears glasses, he looks so handsome. He has also kept a beard recently which has made him even smarter. He looks very intelligent and the look really goes with his character too. His voice presentation is another great feature of his. He presents each and every class in a very attractive way and his super silky and smooth yet loud voice makes the whole class absolutely interesting. Like all other students, I would become captivated when he took his class.

His gentle nature and politeness make him the superhero of the school. I knew that he was a brilliant student in his student life and his performance in his class-taking is proof of his brilliance. As he has a great voice, he also works as an English commentator during the Annual Inter-School Football and Cricket Tournament.

His other specialties include his charity works. He often donates a fixed amount of his salary towards the development of the students. He buys equipment for the arts and crafts classroom. He is also a regular blood donor. All these activities have transformed him from a simple person to a wonderful personality. I am ever grateful to him for the lessons and other teachings that I received from him. I am also very proud of him.

This is the end of the model answer.

This model answer can help you to prepare the following cue cards:

  • Your favourite personality

  • Your favourite teacher
